Our story

Dramagloti is an small company based in Northern Norway that offers online and offline workshops of Languages learning through Theater for English, French and Spanish. Dramagloti collaborates with public and private schools, academies and universities. The language& theater workshops offer students the possibilities to discover and experience alternative ways of learning a foreign language, with spontaneity, creativity and fun.

The workshops are full of vocabulary games, body warming exercises, group cohesion activities, and acting exercises. They combine linguistic and didactic knowledge with dramaturgical methodology, transforming into colorful language lessons that allow students to discover new ways of memorizing vocabulary, try different communication strategies, and explore interacting with others in a foreign language by stepping into the shoes of diverse characters in various situations. The workshops provide students with the space to explore their potential and learn by doing!

Our goals

Dramagloti offers students the possibility to experience a different way of learning foreign language within the formal education system, with games, spontaneity, laugh and creativity.

Benefits of Dramagloti methodology:

Firstly, it awakens curiosity, a must-have ingredient in the learning process of any kind.
It develops creativity and allows students to learn by doing.
It improves collaboration in class and group cohesion, which leads to solving problems of groups division within the class or other social problems.

It increases students’ motivation, among others.

The workshops are tailored to students’ academic needs, language level, and the number of students in a class. The vocabulary and grammar structures are decided beforehand together with the teacher of the group, as the workshops aim to offer support for the language class itself and help students use and play with vocabulary and grammatical structures needed in the curriculum of the language lessons.

About Oana Maria, the founder of Dramagloti

Oana Maria is a polyglot, a linguist, a foreign language teacher, and a professional actor. Throughout her career, Oana has had the privilege of studying and working in various countries including Spain, France, Argentina, and most recently, Norway. This diverse background has provided Oana with rich and vibrant experiences in both private and public education sectors, ranging from language academies to alternative educational establishments and universities.

In recent years, she has dedicated herself to developing a unique language teaching methodology called Dramagloti, which integrates theater techniques into language learning. The methodology is based on Oana’s education background, teaching experience as well as the actor training and her personal experience of being a continuous language learner. Oana is deeply passionate about this innovative approach, which she has found to be incredibly effective and enjoyable. She enjoys traveling for workshops in schools, universities, as well as in private and public educational institutions. Through Dramagloti, she aims to provide an innovative and engaging way for students to learn foreign languages with Creativity, Spontaneity, and Fun and enhance Curiosity and Collaboration in classrooms.
